As our new Senior Director Procurement and Category Manager for Power Technologies you will be heading a global team of experienced purchasing managers who are responsible for the whole supplier life cycle process of our strategic silicon foundries suppliers. Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
- Own the global responsibility and be accountable for Infineon´s worldwide outsourcing strategy/projects for Frontend (Silicon Foundry) for Power Technologies
- Be responsible for a yearly procurement volume (PVO) of more than 250 million EUR and a yearly PVO of more than 2 billon EUR for projects during the sourcing phase
- Be the Head of a global team of experienced purchasing managers who drive the individual supplier life cycle process from strategy mapping and evaluation to phase out
- Take over the leadership of key strategic projects with direct reporting to Division Heads / COO / IFX Board
- Strive for the maximum contribution of Infineon’s Silicon Foundry partners to Infineon’s segment result margin, secure supply and CO2 strategy
- Act as a member of the worldwide Silicon Foundry Procurement Leadership Team
- Be the owner of cross-functional / divisional outsourcing strategy
- Strongly interact with internal stakeholders regarding the internal capacities with high complexity according to Infineon´s overall manufacturing strategy

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Industrial Engineering, Materials Science, Production Technology or alternately a degree that combines technical courses and business administration
- At least 7+ years of relevant working experience in technical procurement incl. negotiation, supplier relationship management and leading projects with Foundry Partners
- Leadership and management experience in order to shape and drive the team strategy
- Demonstrated strategic thinking and a strong business sense
- A multi-cultural and interpersonal skillset including cross-functional teamwork
- Strong communication and negotiation skills in English
