As Senior Staff Engineer Artificial Intelligence Algorithms (f/m/div)*, you will be at the center of this revolution, developing new algorithms & solutions for systems with embedded AI that combine classical automotive needs as real time, safety & security with artificial intelligence in the Development Center Dresden.
In detail, you will be responsible for topics like:
- Understand automotive applications and market trends in the area of artificial intelligence
- Be part of development of prototypes including new artificial intelligence methods to enhance applications in the area of vehicle dynamics, eMobility, ADAS, autonomous driving or similar areas
- Drive application focused use-case studies with regards to execution time, power consumption, real-time behavior and other relevant aspects for different semiconductor components (e.g. processing units or sensors)
- Partitioning of application needs into hardware & software requirements
- Selection of efficient AI algorithms that fulfil their application purpose, real-time needs, safety constraints & limited calculation power on AI on the edge devices
- Manage project documentation & reporting from technical side
- Collaborate closely in your field with different departments & sites around the globe
- Technical coordination of activities from a system view considering cross-domain aspects
Your Profile
You demonstrate excellent communication skills and would appreciate to become part of an international, cross-functional team. Thanks to your technical know-how and structured way of working, you will sucessfully manage projects from the technical side and experience the market trends of the automotive industry.These qualifications make you our top-candidate:
- A degree in technical studies like Electrical Engineering, Physics or Information Technology
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of embedded software for automotive and/or artificial intelligence
- Profound & proven knowledge in Embedded AI, AI on the edge, machine learning, neural networks, deep learning & equivalent areas
- Profound & proven knowledge in Embedded Software Architecture and Software Flows and Tools for AI
- Knowledge of hardware architecture like ARM, MIPS, NVIDIA or Tricore will be an advantage
- Profound & proven knowledge in tools & programming languages like TensorFlow, KERAS, Matlab, Python, Embedded C/C++
- Knowledge in some automotive applications like assisted driving, autonomous driving, eMobility, vehicle dynamics, RADAR, Sensor fusion or battery management system will be an advantage
- Good communicator and excellent team player
- First experience as a technical lead will be an advantage
- Fluent German and English skills
