Their goal is to change conventional global trading through technology and a by implementing a global ecosystem for trade partners. The client serves over 1,000 buyers and sellers across more than 40 countries and offers simple digital solutions that enable SMEs to trade like large corporates. Through the inhouse developed digital platform our client empowers businesses to grow, thus fostering strong international partnerships.
The company currently operates out of 9 offices throughout the world.
Tasks
- Create, extend and test microservices built with React, latest JavaScript, TypeScript and other state of the art technologies (e.g Docker and Kubernetes)
- Write clean and maintainable code that your colleagues love to read
- Work closely with backend engineers, product managers and UX designers in order to build best in class products for our customers
- Right from the start, take full ownership and responsibility for your code throughout the whole software development lifecycle (you build it, you run it, you own it!)
- Take features from conception to final production deployment
- Rapidly fix bugs that occur in production
- Contribute with your own ideas about architecture and best practices
Requirements
- You have been professionally engaged in creating responsive web applications using JavaScript technologies for at least 5 years
- You are a React pro and you have sound knowledge and experience in related technologies such as Redux, Node, Babel and Webpack as well as their profiling and debugging tools
- You already gained experience mentoring team members and successfully delivered on projects for which you were responsible
- You like to see your code in action quickly
- Working as part of a team is in your DNA: You love to share your knowledge and you count on your team to support you. At the same time your team can count on you. Anytime!
- You are a continuous learner, use feedback giving and receiving principles to grow both professional and personal and you are always curious to apply latest technologies that help you solve the customers’ problems
- You are fluent in English. German is a plus
