ABOUT THE JOB…
As Senior Legal Counsel EMEA (f/m/d) you advise Weber on issues concerning legal rights and obligations that relate to the company's management and its field of operation. You proactively steer the distribution setup, contracts, criteria and further development in the local countries within EEA, CH, UK and countries working with distributors.
The responsibilities include:
- Providing independent legal support to our businesses in the EMEA region being focused on all aspects of our distribution
- Being a strong business partner for our entities in steering, maintaining and developing our distribution setup further and perform related trainings
- Managing and coordinating legal initiatives and compliance measures across EMEA as well as giving legal advice
- Work together with the local sales and marketing teams in related projects, areas and strategic tasks as well as centrally defined EMEA priorities
- Execution, controlling, monitoring and tracking of relevant topics/measures in the above areas
- Organize and chair the corresponding EMEA Governance Steering Committee
ABOUT YOU…
- Ability to work as fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist)
- Good knowledge in Distribution Law, Competition and Cartel Law
- 5+ years of experience in international operating companies or law firms with a focus on setting up, maintaining and developing the distribution, ideally in the consumer goods industry
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with individuals across a complex organization
- Being an solution-oriented lawyer working with a trustful and independent working manner
- Fluency in German and English
