Senior Manager of Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) Europe (m/f/d)

Job profile:

Define and implement a more transparent and agile S&OP process across MEU.
Drive Adoption and continuous improvement (KPI based) in S&OP.
Ensure demand forecast is shared in level of detail and timing required by the various internal stakeholders and supply chain partners with documented assumptions. communicating forecast confidence, including risks, constrains and opportunities.
Ensure execution of the S&OP cycles.
Facilitation X-functional operational consensus. (Scheduling and chairing all S&OP Meetings).
Collaborate with key partners in sales and finance to address input gaps by performing root-cause analysis on deviations.
Identification of potential capacity / flexibility bottlenecks both mid- and long-term.
Initiation of flexing plans with Manufacturing, Purchasing and Sales to address constrains short, Mid-, and Long-term.
Engage with all levels of the organization guiding the functional area’s in understanding their role and responsibilities in the S&OP process.
Ensure that inventory targets are met.
Steer and optimize the supply network in close collaboration with the head of sales, purchasing and operations.

Key Skills and Competencies

Degree in industrial engineering or equivalent.
5+ Years management experience.
3+ Years experience in the field of S&OP.
Experience with establishing and executing a formal S&OP process in Automotive Industry (preferable at a Tier-1 Supplier).
Analytical, communication and leadership skills.
Ability to quickly identify deviations from expected results and other disruptions and are able to promptly address and resolve issues.
Experience with monitoring performance and defining improvement plans.
Experience with change management to drive process adoption.
Result Oriented.
Knowledgeable in using SAP-ERP and Data-Analytic tools.
Fluent in German and English.
