Job-Beschreibung und Hinweise für Senior Project Manager International HR (f/m/d)

DB International Operations, located in Berlin, acquires, initiates and manages rail operations and maintenance projects outside of Europe. Therefore we are looking for transport and mobility enthusiasts and entrepreneurs with long-standing experience in engineering and business in Germany and worldwide. We are currently seeking you to join our passionate and performance driven team to manage tenders, build local companies from scratch to full operations, steer quality and performance and enable know-how transfer to our customers and rail business in Germany. Your Responsibilities:

  • You analyze and evaluate the HR requirements of Request for Proposal and are responsible for submitting the corresponding HR part of international rail operations and maintenance (O&M) tenders
  • You lead the HR workstream including coordination of the project team and close collaboration with project workstream leads and support functions within DB Group
  • You draft the potential O&M organization including structure, functions, headcounts and salary levels/packages
  • You identify, select and hire internal and external candidates for the top management positions of the international O&M company during bid, mobilization or operation stages
  • You develop a plan for the (local) recruitment and training of the local O&M company’s employees
  • You provide the HR related cost assumptions for a competitive business case
  • You govern and support the HR topics of our international O&M companies and implement an ongoing HR controlling, including regular audits
  • You will define HR-relevant standards, drive knowledge sharing and develop an internal and  external HR network
Your profile:

  • You have successfully completed a master’s degree (or diploma) in HR or business administration with HR focus
  • You are an HR generalist with a broad range of capabilities across people and organization domains (e.g. recruiting, compensation & benefits, development and training, talent management, HR administration)
  • You hold strong project management skills and have distinctive experience in leading complex projects including strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • You can deal with uncertainty and ambiguity
  • You are a good networker both inside and outside the DB Group
  • Your strengths include analytical and conceptual skills, intercultural and international competence
  • Excellent spoken and written English and good German is a requirement, more language skills are highly welcome
  • You are willing to take business trips abroad
