Your Mission:
As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up our tech stack together with our CTO. You will establish the tools and infrastructure to enable rapid product improvements. It is your mission to enable us to quickly iterate on our product while continuously shipping new and valuable functionality to our customers.
Motivated juniors are also welcome!
Your Objectives
- Ship for user value: Together with your team, you ship new features for our applications. Thereby you actively participate in delivering the best software possible for our customers
- You build it, you run it: You build features with a “you build it, you run it” mindset and are responsible for testing, deployment, and monitoring of your code. Yes, we believe in serverless.
- Ship fast & often: You empower the product team to quickly iterate and test prototypes - you decrease the time it takes to deliver a new feature.
Your Profile:
- You have solid experience in software engineering of larger projects, preferably B2B or SaaS products
- You have a profound knowledge of Python and know to follow best practices
- You are not afraid of serverless applications, continuous integration, and testing
- Putting code live every day is a given
- You value clean code
- You don’t worry about setting up a local dev environment, spinning up a Docker container, or resolving a couple of merge conflicts
- You have been part of an agile development team. You favor open communication, constant feedback, and short decision paths
- You have a “Never-stop-learning” attitude and a desire to develop and grow
- You don't shy away from legacy tech and see chasing down bugs deep into the stack as a challenge
- You are fluent in English
