Our client, a fast growing food-tech company is working on AI-based solutions for the food industry in New York City, Mumbai and Munich. They develop the products using AI to make the production of food in the areas of fast food restaurants, retail, and industrial food production more sustainable, need based and improve quality.
Tasks
- Optimize video streaming applications for low latency, quality or bandwidth depending on the application and surrounding environment
- Enable low power devices to encode incoming images to video streams utilizing hardware encoding
- Build complex systems allowing users without direct access to recording devices to access video streams using our cloud platform
- Use your image processing background to support the Machine Learning team in implementing Computer Vision applications
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of video codecs and containers
- Experience working with FFMPEG or Gstreamer
- Advanced knowledge of the Linux OS and networking
- Expert knowledge using Python and its testing frameworks
- Experience with OpenCV
- Computer Vision background and/or experience with ROS(2) preferred
