Responsibilities
Dream job ahead! Digital Designers at Infineon transform theoretical concepts into real hardware designs. Tap into your creativity and develop together with team of amazing colleagues tailored IC designs for powerful chips. While doing so, you rely on your knowledge of hardware description languages, like VHDL, Verilog and SystemVerilog. As a Digital Designer, you’re in constant contact with people across the company, such as Concept Engineers and Verification Engineers.
In this job, you will:
- Design complex hardware modules with SystemVerilog, VHDL/Verilog
- Work on verification and simulation with logic simulators and formal verification tools
- Define digital architectures and algorithms
- Be a part of an international team and work for a variety of internal customers
- Define Design For Test (DFT) concepts
Your Profile
You have a pioneering spirit, passion for technologies and a high abstraction capability. You think that teamwork really makes the dream work and thus, are able to communicate clearly not only with your own but also with colleagues from other teams. In addition, you have a sound technical knowledge of verification methods and can apply them with ease.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A university degree of applied sciences in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Telematics or comparable with focus on electronics
- Good knowledge in HDL (SystemVerilog, Verilog, VHDL)
- Experience in digital design and semicustom flow
- Know-how of mixed-signal design, STA as a plus
- Solid understanding of verification methodologies
- Fluent English skills. German skills are a plus
This position is subject to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry, employment group G-H (https://www.feei.at/leistungen/informations-service/mindestlohne-und-gehalter-2020). A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills.
