⟶ Conception, implementation and administration of heterogeneous server infrastructures
with focus on Linux
⟶ Further introduction of Proxmox to replace other hypervisors
⟶ Optimizations of operating systems and central services (DNS, web, mail, samba, databases)
⟶ Analysis and troubleshooting of problems on Linux operating systems
⟶ Administration of web, mail and database servers
⟶ Installation and operation of open source software
⟶ Automation through scripting (Bash, Python, Perl)
⟶ Planning and implementation of backup and recovery strategies
⟶ Active participation in customer projects
⟶ Professional support and proactive communication with business customers
⟶ Implementation of projects, evaluation and introduction of new technologies,
creation of documentation and knowledge transfer within the team
⟶ Finding and testing useful open source projects we can use for our customers
⟶ Supporting the internal software development team
⟶ 2nd and 3rd Level Support on virtualization
YOUR PROFILE
⟶ Work experience and IT studies or comparable training (e.g. IT specialist for system integration (m/f))
⟶ Experience with the operation of heterogeneous server landscapes (Linux/Windows)
⟶ Safe use of the Shell (Bash)
⟶ Knowledge of a programming or scripting language
⟶ Secure handling of common Linux distributions (Debian, Ubuntu)
⟶ Experience in operating database and web servers (Apache, nginx, MySQL, MariaDB,
Postgres)
⟶ Good knowledge of firewall and bridging
⟶ Knowledge of network protocols
⟶ Good written and spoken German and English
⟶ Class B or 3 driving licence
⟶ Fun at opening up new topics
