Welcome to our Energy Division. With more than 2,000 colleagues around the world and 30 years of experience, we support our clients (OEM and Utilities) in wind power, solar, hydro, storage and oil & gas sectors to engage in the Energy transition and increase engineering quality, reduce costs, optimize assets and capture value from the digital disruption. We are now looking for a team Manager to reinforce the partnerships with our existing clients and expand our footprint within the industry in Germany and North Europe

What the job entails
- You secure the disciplinary leadership and development of the team and skillset within the Technical Unit EP
- You ensure the strategic and systematic further development of the technical product portfolio of the division (incl. Recruitment of employees or subcontractors as necessary)
- You play an integral role in directing and effectively closing projects throughout the entire lifecycle.
- You manage our enterprise performance offering among stakeholders on Sales and transnational level, enabling the expansion of our collaboration through other Capgemini entities around the world.
- You look after several accounts and control the entire process from the generation of new leads, qualification of requirements to the preparation of offers as well as contract negotiation, conclusion, and project delivery.
- You are part of a team to develop innovative solutions while providing high reliability to finally exceed costumer expectations
- You enable the growth of talented people and contribute to the corporate development and the success of Capgemini Engineering strategy
- You are responsible for expanding our sustainability footprint in the region Germany for customers in the Manufacturing industry.
What we need
- Master's degree in engineering, business administration, management or equivalent
- Very good project and team management skills (disciplinary / technical leadership; at least 6 years of professional experience)
- Very high resilience as well as a high level of energy and enthusiasm
- Several years of proven experience in the manufacturing industry and industrialisation, preferably with an OEM or a service provider for an OEM; ideally also experience in CSR, environmental technology or similar.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills and experience in dealing with stakeholders at the highest management level as well as with decision-makers and sponsors on the customer side
- Solid technical knowledge that enables you to deal with various technical issues and different stakeholders from the client's organisation
- Good knowledge of financial planning or commercial experience (e.g.: financial forecasting, monitoring, and controlling)
- Results-oriented attitude and the ability to succeed under constantly changing conditions
- Effective skills in dealing with stakeholders
- Ability to act as an interface and transfer management steering decisions to the operational level
- Business fluent in English and German, French is an advantage
