Your roleIn this position, you will have the exciting opportunity to be part of a clinical laboratory that supports the development of cutting-edge cell and gene therapies.
- As a member of a dynamic and interdisciplinary team, you will contribute to the development of innovative cell and gene therapies against cancer and autoimmune diseases at Miltenyi Biotec and support the development of new diagnostic tools.
- Your focus will be on the analysis of human samples in various clinical trials using innovative technologies such as quantitative PCR, immunoassays and multiparameter flow cytometry.
Your duties will include routinely performing evaluations related to immune responses in blood samples using molecular analysis, immunoassays and flow cytometry. - The preparation of experimental plans for the qualification and validation of new assays is also part of your tasks. In addition, you will be involved in the development, optimisation and validation of new methods as well as in the preparation of project-relevant documentation (e.g. SOPs, reports, etc.). The qualification of laboratory equipment complements your regular laboratory activities.
- Furthermore, you will be actively involved in the transfer and integration of new analytical methods to internal and external partners.
- You have successfully completed your Master's degree in immunology, biology, biochemistry or a related field.
- You preferably have some years of relevant experience in the pharma/biotech/CRO industry and/or experience with outsourcing processes, including supplier selection and qualification.
- You have experience with cell biology assays and ideally have knowledge of molecular biology (e.g. qPCR), immunoassays (e.g. ELISAs, immunogenicity assays) and flow cytometry.
In addition to immunological and medical topics, you are also enthusiastic about technical issues. - Ideally, you are familiar with the relevant clinical and preclinical regulations or at least have an interest in them.
- You are well organised, flexible and conscientiously document your laboratory results.
Fluency in English, enjoyment of teamwork and communication round off your profile.
