To support our dynamic and multinational team in Hamburg, we are looking for a new

Team Member (m/f/d) Trade Cost Control

Key tasks and responsibilities:

• Handling of trades operated by our office in Hamburg inbound and outbound Europe
• Annual and semi-annual budget making, consisting of cargo volume hearing, estimation, voyage calculation and full report creation for the trade lanes operated by our office
• Monthly profit/loss calculation of trade lanes followed by reporting to HQ for actual results and estimates for coming months as well as detailed analysis
• Check and detailed analysis of estimated and actual cost reports provided by other offices and agencies in Europe as well as reporting to HQ

Your skills:

• Education and work experience on shore in shipping business
• Very good skills of mathematics in voyage income vs cost, trade pattern calculation
• Professional use of MS Office (in particular Excel)
• High motivation to do profit/loss calculation and as well as reporting those
• Ready to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and respond to such changes together with the team and manager
• Independent and structured work, patience and quick understanding
• Love to communicate in English as daily common language with business partners and overseas offices
