As a Manager for Technical Documentation you will have the chance to implement new standards and work closely with our Technical Writers and R&D Experts. You will get to know the full picture of Infineon's strategy for technical customer documentation, from creation to publication.
Responsibilities
In your new role you will:
- Develop, improve and implement processes to manage documents and topics within a component content management system
- Consult, support and train subject matter experts to use the authoring tools and to apply mandatory Infineon documentation guidelines to their documents
- Work with multiple authoring tools, including Oxygen, CCMS systems, and XSLTs to create product documentation for internal and external customers in time
- Manage multiple documentation projects with multiple deliverables simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines
- Identify and implement improvements to processes and deliverables, communicate risks to project deadlines in advance and follow all internal processes, style guides, templates, and brand guidelines

You possess a strong business acumen, financial savvy and a good sense for long-term profitability and weighing up opportunities and risks carefully. Moreover, you remain aware of the big picture – even in complex situations.
You are best equipped for this task if you have:
- A degree in Technical Writing, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or similar
- At least 5 years of working experience in methodologies of modular writing and managing modular information (e.g. DITA)
- Very good Experience in use, support, and training of topic-oriented writing (XML based)
- Good experience in writing and managing big documentation projects
- Excellent communication and presentation skills across various stakeholders
- Fluent in English, German would be a plus
