Our client:
Oil trading company seeking an LC / TF officer to join their team.
Responsibilities:
To support the trading team with the the structuring of deals.
To review export LCs
To negotiate export LCs
To advise on bank and counterparty related topics
Contract review
Maintain and develop relationships with banks and counterparties
Profile:
Minimum 10 years work experience within a medium sized energy / oil trading house
Candidates must have experience dealing with African countries
Candidates must be willing to travel when needed
Ideal candidate will have some structured finance expertise but will be operational in LC issuance.
Exceptional communication skills
Strong knowledge of credit risk, LCs and guarantees
Complete fluency in English and French
