We are looking for you to support us from April 1st, 2022 in our Head Office Location in Essen or in Frankfurt/Main, Germany.
Your tasks:
- As a trainee in Innovation & Ventures you will participate in the development of business model ideas from research, ideation, conception to validation
- You will work together with internal founder teams and support them with their daily challenges like customer acquisition, business modeling or just bootstrapping the next big idea
- Organization, participation, documentation, and follow-up of digital workshops and workstreams is part of your daily business
- It is within your responsibility to support the team in communication activities by creating relevant content and spreading it out to the internal & external target groups
- Bring in your own ideas to improve DB Schenker and together with internal stakeholders you will prepare decision papers for top management
- You will evaluate incoming innovation related requests from the business and our customers
- Proactively move ideas and innovations as well as support, coordinate and manage innovation pilot projects
Your profile:
- Good university degree in economics, (business) computer science, (business) engineering, or a comparable course of study with focus on innovation
- First practical experience in a corporate or startup environment (e.g. innovation consulting, project management, logistics industry or others)
- Entrepreneurial, open mindset, knowledge of agile methods e.g. Design Thinking and strong interest for trends & technologies
- Very good conceptual and organizational skills as well as well-developed communication skills and high level of customer orientation
- Enjoy working in cross-functional, intercultural teams and trying out new things
- Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Fluent in English and German
