THE JOB
We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our Europe IT team.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- The locations Frankfurt and Limburg
- The setup, configuration, and support of workspaces and devices, including Microsoft desktop software products and Office 365.
- You will create manuals and sharing your knowledge by writing documentation (instructions, processes, update tickets, etc.).
- You'll also handle network administration and troubleshooting, including switches, VoIP systems, and basic firewall management.
- Supporting mobile phones and devices, configuring and deploying mobile tablets and applications, and evaluating new technologies are all part of your responsibilities.
- Additionally, you will be involved in setting up IT and network systems at new facilities and managing IT contracts and costs.
Your role is critical in ensuring the efficiency and functionality of our IT systems and supporting the growth of our organization.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree as IT specialist or equivalent several years of experience in IT
- Microsoft Certification helpful
- CCNA Certification helpful
- Experiences in the below roles
- Network Administration and Troubleshooting
- Switch and Router Administration
- Knowledge in VLAN configuration
- Workspace Setup & Configuration
- Microsoft 365 environment (Office, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive)
- You have strong social skills, openness, creativity, and team spirit
- You keep a cool head in challenging situations
- You are characterized by a high degree of analytical and solution-oriented thinking, as well as a pronounced understanding of processes
- With your "can-do" attitude and flexibility, you actively contribute to the success of your projects.
- You are very familiar with Excel
- C1 level German and English is a key requirement - oral and in written
